My first job experience was working as a receptionist in my Dads small real estate office when I was back in Jr. High School. I grew up in Littleton, attended Arapahoe High School and went to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. My dad sold and taught real estate from 1967 to 2002. So, I must have caught the bug from him. I love selling real estate, and I take pride in finding the exact home for my buyers.

LIsting homes is a very tricky business right now. The values are coming back, but the  large number of foreclosures and short sales have affected our property values. We have all heard we should buy low and sell high, In real estate the market is rarely in that situation in the same area.  My listings have always sold in a relatively short time period. The reason for this is that I find the comparable sales and price the homes according to what the market is doing. It is a mistake to price a property too high, because you get the most activity on the house within the first two weeks of the listing. Dont be discouraged , because homes are selling!!! Sellers just need to have a realistic price.
